Expanding housing opportunities is essential to growing our communities and supporting local employers. I’ve worked to support investments that create more housing options for families, workers, and seniors.

Supported the Big Build housing initiative, driving significant housing investment and development
Helped support the creation and rehabilitation of homes to meet growing demand
Backed programs including down payment assistance, housing rehabilitation loans, and support for new construction
Supported long-term efforts to expand housing supply and strengthen communities countywide

Natural Resources & Quality of Life

Protecting our lakes, land, and outdoor spaces is key to the quality of life we all value and expect to preserve for future generations.

Supported the Heart of the Lakes Trail (2025 MCEA Project of the Year)
Promoted environmental stewardship and outdoor recreation
Worked with the landowner of Echo Bay Park to develop a long-range plan and secure the generous donation of the park to Otter Tail County
Continuing work to develop access roads and infrastructure within the park
